| In January, 2008, Baseball As America, the traveling exhibition of over five hundred items from the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum at Cooperstown finished its three month run at the Dallas Museum of Nature and Science at Fair Park. Included in the exhibit were items and memorabilia from the game's history, starting with the "Doubleday Ball", the iconic symbol of baseball's legendary birth. Vintage Base Ballist Wendel Dickason served as exhibit interpreter most of the weekends that the exhibit was open. |
